Video presentation editing
un chien andalou - shows eye then cuts to the razor going through the eye, this is eisenstien theory of montage it is rhythmic montage because the next shot you see of the eye we automatically presume it is the eye we saw in the pervious shot, the whole film is shot very slowly even the eye scene.
The texas Chainsaw Massacre - There is a scene where leather face chainsaws a man who is in a wheelchair, again this uses rhythmic montage as you see a shot of the guy in the wheelchair then it cuts to a shot of behind leather face as he waves his chainsaw but we automatically think he is actually killing the men due to the editing of the clips, this is faster edited than Un chien andalou but still is slow compare to the things we see today.

Kuleshov effect
This is a effect that shows for example the smirking man which is a picture of a normal man with a face expression and when someone tells you what they are looking at you interpret the expression differently this is on i made, which shows a man with a smirk on his face but when looking at a gravestone makes him look depressed

Final Cut Sea World
The first thing i did was go file - import - folder, to import the whole folder of clips
Then I used the Mark In and Mark Out tool in the viwer to edit the part of the clip i wanted in the time line
I then decieded i wanted another clip in the timeline where another clip was so i used the overwrite edit tool to put it in
I then put some text into the video
I then put a new bin into the browser
We then learnt how to put markers in by pressing M on the keyboard. This helped us mark section of the song so we could for example put each club when the beat was
